About Ag Silvers

Formerly a senior women's competitive 3-on-3 basketball team, the Ag Silvers tried its hand at the sport of Pickleball in July 2013. It didn't take long for the game to catch on among these athletically inclined ladies and Tuesday night basketball practice ultimately changed its focus to pickleball. 

 

While there are still a number of original members of the nationally known Ag Silver women's basketball team playing pickleball each week, the games have been expanded to include men and women who are passionate about learning and playing the game of pickleball.

 In honor of the Ag Silvers team of old, the goals of the Brazos Valley Pickleball Association remain the same:

• Fun and fellowship for both men and women.

• Promotion of good health and fitness habits through regular exercise.

• Competition and qualification in the local, state and national Senior Games and other invitational tournaments.
   

The Brazos Valley Pickleball Association is comprised of Texas residents whose motto is "Age is an Attitude". The Brazos Valley Pickleball Association membership ranges in age from 30 ~ 80 but everyone is welcome to join the pickleball craze!
